From an ad link to a confirmed Telegram join

Connected a tracked visit to a free-channel join. Members enter Telegram directly while a bot works in the background.

Controlled technical evidence; no real-campaign attribution result is claimed.

Role of [NERD-METHOD]

Measurement architecture, implementation of the link between visits and joins, event rules and operating instructions.

01

The original task

The owner of a free Telegram channel saw advertising visits separately from channel joins. The task was to connect them while keeping a direct route into the channel, without requiring subscribers to start a bot or exchange private messages.

02

What we built

The advertising link leads to a fast redirect. The service saves the context and issues a prepared invite. After the person joins, the Telegram confirmation is linked to that invite and the original visit. A bot prepares links in advance, observes membership changes and revokes used invites. Storage and a queue keep the human action separate from event delivery.

03

How we defined the outcome

A conversion occurs after the join is confirmed. An ad-sourced join that meets the eligibility rules can produce a server-side Lead; a click alone cannot. The rules distinguish a first observed join from a return after a recorded departure. A repeated notification does not become a second local conversion.

04

What was verified

Project records dated 31 August 2026 document a controlled return through a fresh link, acceptance of a Lead by Meta and its visibility in Events Manager. Completion of the work was confirmed by the owner on 8 September. Actions on test content were checked separately: a button, an anonymous poll and aggregate reactions.

05

What the evidence covers

The evidence applies to the technical setup described. It does not establish attribution from a real advertising campaign under the later eligibility rules. The system covers tracked invites, rather than the entire channel membership; a first observed join does not mean a first-ever join. A forwarded link can inherit the source. This case makes no claim about acquisition cost, growth or ROAS.

06

What we handed over

The working integration, reacquisition rules, internal event history and instructions for the channel owner and media buyer. The case shows how to agree on the meaning of an outcome before sending an event to an advertising platform.
