Role of [NERD-METHOD]
Development of the data extraction process, selection rules, ID validation and export package.
Built repeatable product and variant processing, selection rules and an export for an advertising catalogue.
Processing and an ID sample were verified; platform ingestion and sales impact are not claimed.

Development of the data extraction process, selection rules, ID validation and export package.
A large clothing retailer needed manageable selections for an advertising catalogue. Manual lists quickly became outdated, while a single product could have many variants. The first step was to establish that the selected IDs referred to the objects used by the receiving system.
We built a Shopify Admin data pipeline: retrieve products, variants and the agreed order metrics; normalise the data; apply rules; validate matches; then export the results and a report. Inclusion and labelling rules were separated from data retrieval so that assortment changes would not require rebuilding the process each time.
Products and variant rows were counted separately. The legacy ID scheme was checked against a control sample before generating the output. The report shows processing volumes and rule results, allowing the file to be reconciled with the source data rather than judged by the appearance of a spreadsheet.
The dated package from 7 May 2026 records the processing of a large catalogue and a complete match within the checked sample of legacy IDs. The processing code, report, tests and export materials were retained.
The case demonstrates data preparation and sample validation. It does not establish current store completeness, ingestion of the entire feed by the advertising platform, campaign launches or a change in sales. A verified sample cannot support a claim about every object without a separate full reconciliation.
A repeatable sequence for retrieving and transforming data, selection rules, the output and an explanatory report. For a similar task, the next stage is an agreed upload to the destination and a separate check of the catalogue it accepted.
